PCLinuxOS LiveCD Problems
Whenever I try to boot into the PCLOS liveCD, it gtives me a text login. I login as "guest", then it gives me a command line. What do I do to start the system?

Enter the command: startx to start a GUI. Usually you boot straight into a GUI environment, so there could have been a problem configuring you graphics card. Post back any error messages you get when you run startx.

The mirrors are listed here. If you prefer KDE, download the release labeled as 2007 and if you prefer GNOME, download the GNOME cd.

They should all have that - you just need to enable it through the
PCLOS control centre. Assuming your graphics card is up to the
job of course. If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate! (Zapp Brannigan)
