Installing wine on PCLinuxOS Gnome
I'm having a lot of trouble installing wine on PCLinuxOS Gnome version. I went to the WineHQ.com, and downloaded Mandriva because that's what I heard will work for PCLOS since there's no specific one available for download. It was an archive file..but what do I do now? I'm sorry, but I just started using Linux, so thanks for any information.

Isn't there a WINE package in the PCLinuxOS repositories that you could use? I don't run pclinuxos so really don't know, but I'd be very surprised if there isn't one there.

Check this wiki page to see if it offers any help:
http://oldwiki.mypclinuxos.com/Wine
It says old wiki, but the new one doesn't have anything in it yet, so this info might still apply.oz
