    PCLinuxOS LiveCD, garbled screen

    I am stuck with a PCLinuxOS live CD. Any boot option I try I just get a garbled screen and unable to do anything. I changed the monitor and keyboard also but nothing changed. I managed to start counsel mode as it is in boot options but how do I install from this? Will PCLinuxOS not work in this computer. I had installed Ubuntu on this and it was working fine. Now I have shifted that to another computer and want to install PCLinuxOS on this one. Pls help.

    Which Graphics Card do you have? Post your machine's specs here.
    Have you tried same PCLinuxOS LiveCD on other machine? Try it and check if anything is wrong with LiveCD.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

    It's a P3, 1.1GHz. Intel D815E MB. It had Ubuntu installed initially.
    I tried the LiveCD on another computer, which currently has a working Ubuntu install and it is ok.
