    Volume Control Error in PCLOS 2010 KDE on Acer Aspire 532h-5288 Netbook


    I'm having an issue with the sound output on my Acer Aspire One netbook. Audio output works just fine with a headset, but the speaker output is VERY low. I almost can't hear it.

    I've executed alsaconf as root but I still don't have the issue resolved.

    I thought it was a mixer issue but I can't seem to figure that out. All volume settings are maxed out

    Edit: 8 hours later, my volume control works perfectly. I don't get it, but perhaps a restart fixed it when a logoff didn't?

    I'm happy to report that so far, everything works, though I haven't tried the mic or the multi-card adapter.
