    Get a empty partition


    my i want to have a empty partition
    i have 4 partition
    NAME MAJ:MIN RM SIZE RO TYPE MOUNTPOINT
    sda 8:0 0 931.5G 0 disk
    ├─sda1 8:1 0 309.9G 0 part /boot
    ├─sda2 8:2 0 1.9G 0 part [SWAP]
    ├─sda3 8:3 0 309.9G 0 part /
    └─sda4 8:4 0 309.9G 0 part /home
    how i can do that

    several ways...

    you can copy your /home to your / partition (and edit fstab accordingly), thus freeing sda4.

    after that, you can use sda4 as one big partition, or make it an extended partition with many logical prtition inside it.

    btw, i think /boot is way too big; afaiu several 100MB are enough.

    why is you boot partition 300GB? seems a little overboard, that is way too much.
