    The base kernel is kernel-livecd-2.6.16.27.tex1.lve 1-1tex (1GB lowmem)

    but from Synaptic there are about 12 different kernels that can be choosen depending on what you really need. For my main machine I use the kernel installed by default (listed above) For my dual processor I use an kernel-smp-2.6.16.29.tex1.smp#1-1tex (1GB lowmem)

    it is not in the repositories because in a couple of days version 2007 will be out i'd reccomend waiting for that but if you really want .93 you can prob find a torrent
