LCD Display on laptop.. Fault?

stringtheorem Just Joined! Join Date: Oct 2009 Posts: 7	LCD Display on laptop.. Fault? Hi everyone, I'm new to Linux forums! I was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem with their laptop display. I have just installed a new screen on my Fujitsu laptop after my old one was cracked. The new display has a white patch on the top just at the edge. It looks like backlight bleed but its only in one place, I think its from a fault in the frame. Is this something that will get worse?

I've attached a photo, but it doesn't show up too well. It's just the light spot on the top of the screen. Sorry about the low quality of the photo, but at least it shows where abouts the light patch is..

Posts: 2,662	Assuming you are correct about it being a backlight bleed because of some problem with the frame, it will not likely get worse. Who did the repair? __________________ Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
