| Yes I have tried Fedora 11. No such problems there.
All Fn-keys are functioning properly.
However, I was not able to migrate my /home to Fedora.
Put aside the desktop settings such as layout, screen saver... , which were all not adopted by Fedora. The biggest disappointment came from the applications.
I was not able to get Skype working on Fedora 11.
I was not able to find (and install) mplayer in Fedora repository.
Not even migrating my Evolution mail settings was successful. Moving .evolution directory gave me only my mailboxes, but all my settings were lost, accounts, filters, addresses, calendar, Nothing is there.
So I gave up and installed openSUSE again.
Apparently I'm not experienced enough to migrate from openSUSE to Fedora.
It seems I'm stuck with openSUSE. |
