Realtek ALC655 AC97 on-board sound chip under Linux 2.6.9
Hi,
I have the sound chip mentioned in the subject of this thread, and I would like to compile the 2.6.9 kernel to support it, but I haven't found any entry in the ALSA configuration menu in the kernel menuconfig to be able to activate support for AC97 or a specific device entry for the Realtek ALC655 chip
How can I obtain the support I need for this sound chip? What do I need in order to get it working?
