I'm an NVIDIA person (dual 6600s), but I feel your pain, and I'll sign and help out. I don't like the idea of a company denying support to an OS.

I signed the petition, but I'm curious: Will the acquisition by AMD improve the situation? Has AMD said anything about its plans in this regard?

There is a new ATI forum section at AMD.COM. Unfortunately it is difficult to access and post to the buggy forum.
