I should first of all say that I'm a recent convert from XP, so I know next to nothing about Suse 9.2 which I've recently installed... Having said that, I'm having trouble with my Audigy LS. I can play mp3s, but they play at the wrong speed, sound "staticy," and skip several times a second... What can I do to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Are you running the alsa sound or oss? Some of the posts I've seen suggest that alsa works better with this partitcular card although I'm no sound expert. Make sure alsa is installed which it probably is by default. If not, you can install it with Yast easily enough.
Then, from the command line run:
alsaconf
And that should set it up for you. Let us know how you come out.
