Sound Card Problem

I have a dool boot machine with WIndows XP/ Fedora Core 3 on it. I jsut installed Fedora Core 3. On windows, my sound works, but wih Fedora I hear nothing. How can I fix this?

This is what I get when i type in /sbin/lspci

You hear nothing when trying to play MP3's or no sound in general?

The usual fix for this is to start alsamixer and unmute and open all the faders until the sound is heard. Then you can close them individually until you find the one(s) that make the difference. It worked for me (and after I'd plugged my headphones into the line-out, not the line-in. )
