Mandrake 9.1 VS Intel ServerBoard

i am installed linux mandrake 9.1 on my friend server (he using intel serverboard maybe SE7501BR2 + with RAID card from intel + Xeon Proc + etc nearly $ 4000) but after installed and i configured little program and time to shutdown the server and ... what the server wont off it all (i mean that led indicator server still on and also the power supply) ......

i am join other forum they advise me to configure APM but i dont know about APM can you help me ?

I would recommend that you try another distro. Mandrake isn't really made for servers to begin with, and it wouldn't be the first time that Mandrake shipped with kernel bugs...
