I am using Ubuntu Dapper for my desk top. The printer used in my office is Wep HQ 1070+DX. I am interested in linux but i could not get succeed in getting the Driver for the printer. I googled around and got a ppd file for the same. How can i install a ppd file. Is that the driver ? Is the printer to be connected as a local printer or should i specify the port LPT#1, Parellel Port#1 (CANNON) or Parellel Port #1 (EPSON) ? Can somebody help me in this please
