im am currently installing gentoo linux and am at step 8 where i am editting the fstab file. I have 2 hard drive in my system and the one i am trying to mount in fstab is ntfs formatted and has files on it. Could someone please le me know what I have to enter in fstab for it to auto mount my second drive at startup?

if possible please stray from being fague because this is my first time with linux and im still learning the commands

this is the basic layout of what i need to enter

<fs> <mountpoint> <type> <opts> <dump/pass

i also have a dvdr drive that I want it to mount as well and im not sure if i have to mount that separately from my other cdrom drive

You will need to change hdax to the partition you want to mount then change the mount point to where you want to have the files and then ro is for read-only 0 i forgot and 2 is the fsck pass
