What did you do?
What are you trying to do?
What is the error msg?
You should give more info.
But you might want to look into apt-get?
If you did what I think you did.. goto the GNU site and get a make source to compile.
But, what the hell.. How can you delete that file... :o
Are you always root or something :S
Anywho, I hope that helped

well i thought there was some prob in the make file as it always used to say tat "no rule to make target .Stop"so i jus thought of deleting that make file and re-installing it as it might have been corrupted....rt nw when i say "apt-get install make"it says "cant build dependency tree..the package may be depending on some other candidate"!!!!
