    Question Need a Standard Excel Writer in PHP

    Hi all,
    I tried Spreadsheet writer with PHP to creat an Excel sheet.
    But it some times fails
    Data is in Unicode format so data comes as junk
    Can anyone suggest standard tool

    It really gave me ...one hell of time to fix this issue.
    Solution:
    From php + invoke shell script + from there call java program ..write excel sheet using POI.


    ...It's really really a head ache

    There is a PEAR module excel_writer which does the trick for me!

    yes.i'm are actually using pear.
    but it didn't support some spanish character so we decided to change it.
