hey..
i was recently introduced to an OS simulator called OSP2..i dont know if any of you have heard of it..anyway my professor gave us this assignment on it..in java which sounds very interesting..implementing tasks and their operations on the simulator..but i dont have jdk on my kubuntu and this simulator needs jdk 1.5 or above..so if any of u cud tell me where to get it from and how to install it, ill be thankful
PS: im kinda new to linux..

im currently download a "java EE SDK 5 update 1 for linux" form this website:

but its 130 MB large..is it supposed to be this big or do i have the wrong file?

u r suppose to download j2se ... anyway but u dldled j2ee and from its size i guess it might include jdk (i.e. j2se) ... so don't worry just set ur java_home to that folder...
