upgrading kernel
hello,
I am using fedora core 7 , that kernal is 2.6.21 , for my application i want to use 2.6.23. Did anybody can helpme out, how to upgrade the kernal from from 2.6.21 to 2.6.23. since i want to use the PPS patch ( pulse per second patch), this patch will support only linux kernel 2.6.23. i want to upgrade that. i have patched the PPS with 2.6.23, but i dont know how to upgrade. Anybody please help me out?.

The 2.6.23 kernel is available through yum, execute the following as root to upgrade your system:
That will bring all packages and the kernel upto date.Code:# yum update
Curent FC7 kernel is 2.6.23.8-34RHCE #100-015-395
