    Wink How to get notificaiton if filesystem changes in linux system

    Hi everybody
    i am beginer to ths field...need help from u people ....how to get the file system change notification in linux...
    can any body write a simple code in C/C++....
    monitor any file, if that file modified notify me by printing or execute some funciton...
    otherwise give me some ideas...

    pls pls help me

    You'll be wanting inotify.
