    any ascii text editor and a Makefile

    "intellisense" is for people who cant be bothered to RTFM

    There are many, but i just started with - Codeblocks and I think i will be sticking with it for a while.

    Before that i tried several others and did not find anything to my liking and just resolved to using a text editor and compiling with g++.

    I tried Code::Blocks but it wouldn't install, ended up using emacs
