    Konquerer

I have just looked at my website using Konquerer running a Knoppix live CD. The Flash slideshows do not run and the message asks for download of the flash application. Is this because I have a live CD or perhaps Linux (if installed) will not run Flash?

There's a flash plugin for linux, and it works. Only for x86, though (which by extension can also work on amd64).

It can't be shipped on livecds because the license does not allow to redistribute the binary plugin, but you can download and install it on your distribution once you have it installed. Some livecds might even permit installing it on the livecd environment, it's not impossible, but I don't know if there's a livecd that can do that.
