    C/C++ development interface

    hello

    Which is the best Interface available for for c/C++ development in Linux.
    Someone suggested DevC++. but than I came to know that it is ONLY good for windows and its unstable release for linux was long back and no development is going in it since than

    And what about KDE, is it specifically for GUI programming.
    As what i program is related to graphs and optimization algorithms.

    I have used GCC, but didn't found it very interactive

    KDevelop Integrated Development Environment for developing C/C++ applications
    is a good IDE in KDE. There are others too , may be other will have better reply
