Hi all,

I recently downloaded netbeans 6.1 and jdk 6u....
Apparently i am doing this errand for a friend of mine who has no experience in linux...
I am familar with solaris and quite fine with linux...
So i downloaded the jdk's .bin file and installed it on the system.....

But when i tried installing netbeans it says something like, "class, home"
or something like that , i am not sure.....
But the installlation quits once there is a check done for JVM...
It says checking JVM ,then i get this class thing, as not found....
Unable to find jdk ,plesase check if jdk installed and try again....

i am very sure that jdk is installed....
So could you pls help me out in solving this issue?
Do i have to set some path to jdk while installing netbeans?
My friend is using FC3

thanks
