    i m not able to execute a binary file whenever i try to execute it it shows bash :./read :cannot execute binary file
    can anybody tell y it is happening and a solution?

    You better go do some reading .... stuff with books, words etc.

    I don't mean to be condescending but your asking stuff that is covered in many HOWTo's, web site documentation etc.; and this is the way Linux assists. I don;t think you except people to solve your problems for you, but your looking for places to find out for yourself.

    Try: Googling for "linux shell scripts chmod" but to get you on your way have a look at the documentation at:

    Which Binary file are you trying to execute and how are you executing it?
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
