I was trying to Install packages j2sdk-1_4_2_13-nb-5_0-linux-ml.bin (i've downloaded from netbeans.org),
but i cant installing it!

Installing Netbeans
Can you help me??
I was trying to Install packages j2sdk-1_4_2_13-nb-5_0-linux-ml.bin (i've downloaded from netbeans.org),
but i cant installing it!
it say 'The installer is unable to run in graphical mode. Try running the installer with the -console or -silent flag', so i try with -console and -silent but it doesn't work at all!
i search in google and found that i must install package 'bc' and 'xorg-x11-deprecated-libs',i have installed 'bc' (still doesn't work),but i can't find the xorg-x11-deprecated-libs (i typed command 'yum install xorg-x11-deprecated-libs')
what should i do?
for information, i using Fedora 8

Are you sure you are having JDK installed on your pc?

Is netbeans in the Fedora repositories, it is in Ubuntu.
Try yum install netbeansIf we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate! (Zapp Brannigan)

package i want to install is, J2SDK included with netbeans,
so i didnt have to install JDK first,
just like netbeans in windows, in windows you have j2sdk+netbeans in one installer
i try to install netbeans with yum, but it says that no package of netbeans available,
what should i do ??
