validation for users when sign up for event

Hello All,

I want to create php system that will validate when users
register for the event today (for example), it will check in mysql database if
they did not registered for this event before.
Any suggestions welcome.

I like to check Welcome to the PHP Classes Repository - PHP Classes when I have a new php challenge. There's some good stuff there. The unforutunate part about your need this time, is that the words "event" and "register" and "register event" have too many meanings, and it's hard to find just the right search.

(I did notice there are some services that do this sort of thing in the "Ads by Google" box near the bottom of page 1. Maybe something there for you too.)
