    There is already a great firewall on Fedora. SElinux is probably the best one currently out for linux. Just go to System>Administration>SElinux Management, type in your ROOT password and your in! You can manage virtually every aspect of your firewall this way. Trust me, I have been down this road before and this is the best solution.

    hey...actually this is a project and i have to write a module which can act as an firewall........so i need some guidance in how to start.
