i am willing to make a gui for my script....should i use pygtk ?.....yet i don't know anything about python but i have no problem to learn it...because i think python can be used to write script.....or is there any other option ....

tcl/tk
ok .......actually i want to have a structure very much like what wikipedia has....a tree on left side and text area on right ....can i get this structure with tcl/tk.....

Personally I always use GTK, just work out what language you want to use, and google for a tutorial, there's plenty of them for many languages.
You need to know what programming/scripting language you want to right it in first though.

yet i am not aware of any scripting language neither python nor tcl ..... my aim is to give gui the structure that i mentioned earlier .....if pygtk can provide it to me i will continue with python and gtk.......if tcl/tk can provide it i will continue with tcl/tk....i am not aware of any other language and i think any of above two may be easy to learn.....keeping the structure of the gui please provide me a better option....
