I'm looking for a way to automate my printer cleaning process. I don't want to have to keep clicking clean, clean, deep clean, clean, check print quality.
The specific problem today is that I left my printer in storage for a few months.
I think that it is a cleaning issue, there is plenty of ink left in the ink tanks. The tank to head interface is wet.
I am in Ubuntu (working my way out, I swear). I use a Canon Pixma iP3000 (I bought it for $80. Spectacular results. Can't quite get the color matching down.)
Any one got any ideas? Even just the config or option file name would help. Or some terminology!
Thanks.
