Help w/ Cat and EOF
Allright Hello everyone, for school I half to do the foloowing.
2. Type cat > Exercise1.
3. Type the following code to insert text into the Exercise1 script:
echo “Welcome to my shell script.’
echo “This is one of my first shell scripts.”
echo “Shell script programming is a tool for helping System Administrators.’
4. Send an end-of-file (EOF) character to the cat command.
I just can't seem to figure out number 4 as I haven't used Linux in along time and am just rusty.
Any help is appreciated and thanks.
