Mayby a c program that will clean my computer. Mayby point me toward lessons I would have to learn to fix problems like this with a linux box.
My e-mail address is lifemud@hotmail.com actually its not my primary e-mail but I use it to keep up on these forums and I do check it daily so any help would be helpful.

TROJANS in linux!!! nah, that it will be hard to believe.
so what exactly is what is going on with your computer??? when you say remember stuff, means that when you open a program and then close it, it will open again in the future?

This is just my opinion and not based on hard facts. But I think If you really suspect that you have a "Trojan" or any other type of virus, malware or rootkit, then you should seriously consider formatting your hard drives and start from scratch. The reason I say this is because if you do have some type of infection and you do manage to "clean it up", you're still going to be wondering about it everytime something else breaks or gives you grief. Sometimes new Linux users get their systems completely borked up just by playing with it, and re-installing is the best way to clean up a mess like that. Don't base your decision on this post, but rather just keep it in mind.
Good Luck!I do not respond to private messages asking for Linux help, Please keep it on the forums only.

I have tried.
I have tried four different operating systems with no prevail actually. Whatever program that I have stumbled accross actually dodges or kind of tricks linux. I can't rid of these dang bugs it causes to. Like things don't work exactly right sometimes. Hmm what exactly happens I think is that it sabotodges linux in a un descrete kind of manor.I believe it makes midnight commander act different than it should, it makes my cd writer's laser go crazy, I think its some kind of military tactic to be truthful. I don't know exactly what is wrong but I could sure use a way to fix these problems without haveing to reinstall my operating system anymore. I believe the alot of my files should be clean so its just a matter of harnissing the power of linux to repair and keep repaired my dells. Please only responses that will encourage and help to learn linux repair tactics are welcome. Please do not discorage me or others. If you don't know how then please post something more along the lines of. Wow I don't know how to do that so if someone would answer that question it would help me and him. I have done this to fix a stupid little bug that is cool to have fixed and am curious myself about how to program repair jobs for linux.
