Hello!,

I am in school studying the contents of this folder in preparation for a project of writing a packet crafter. Spring break is coming up, and seeing as I have nothing more important to do, I would like to get started working with these files.

However, my knowledge of much of the contents of this folder is iffy, in that much of it seems to me to be very hard to understand. Does anyone have any pertinent source code and/or books that might be helpful to my goal of writing my own packet crafter?

I have been researching the source to hping and other such programs but I would honestly like to know if this is an efficient use of my time in writing a packet crafter. How did you all learn to toy with packets?

Any/all advice appreciated.
