Id like any info on running linux on small electronics.

I know linux has been run on ipods, nintendo ds, psp, ps3, phones, and other things.

But where exactly do u start to go about creating one that would work on a similar device?

my mp3 player is a samsung p2, i have experience with linux through suze and ubuntu.

id be willing to put a cast amount of hours into this btw, thnx.

You can also check out Unetbootin, although I haven't used it myself, I have seen posts from people who have had success with it. I think you can just treat the mp3 device as a USB thumb drive and away you go.
    UNetbootin - Homepage and Downloads
They have great documentation too, so it should be fairly easy to install and operate. I'm curious though,,,,why would you want to put Linux onto an MP3 Player?
