    Dual File Display Script

I need a script that will display 2 files on a single screen with the capability to scroll either file horizontally within its side of the screen and to scroll either file vertically independently.
I haven't been able to do this with diff, diff3, sdiff, or comm. Can someone point me in the right direction or suggest a means of doing this.

    Hi.

If this is for the purpose of comparing files, look at xxdiff, but the scrolling controls are not independent ... cheers, drl

Thanks drl, unfortunatey Slackware 12.0 (forgot to mention that) does not have xxdiff but since as you point out it does not have independent scrolling, it is not likely to be of use here. Appreciate U thinking of it tho!! I may download it if my search is of no avail.
