    calculating File size in a directory

    Hello ,

    I am a newbie to writing shell scripts.

    I wanted to know how to write a script to find the file size of all the files in a particular directory in a day.

    we have 12 directories coming onto a solaris box , which contains files for varying sizes. so I need to calculate the size of the files in those directories .
