    best Linux for Network programming?


    Please tell me which distribution is best of Linux for Network programming.Is that GCC complier is preloaded in the Linux distro...Which material is the best for the new comer in Linux........thanks

    As for your choice in distro, you can program in GCC with any version of Linux. Some distributions come with the compiler pre-installed, others will let you install it after-the-fact with a couple of keystrokes. I personally wouldn't worry so much about that and focus on finding a distribution you enjoy using, because if you don't enjoy using it you're not going to want to spend time doing work on it.
