    How do you make a linux distro based off the gnome desktop enviorment?

    I want to make a distro based of the Gnome desktop enviorment. Problem is i dont know how. Can somebody please tell me how to?

    Linux is open sourced, so you can download the source code for any distro and take a look at that code to see how they did it. Otherwise, the subject of creating a distribution is beyond the scope of a help forum like this one.

    You can also check the Linux From Scratch website for more info on creating your own distribution.

    You could leverage the hard work others have put in to making tools that help you respin some popular Linux distros that use Gnome:

    For Fedora -> Revisor

    For Ubuntu/Debian -> Remastersys
