Hi,

I have a Geiger Counter, and want to count the clicks coming from teh counter. I see several windows based programs for this, but I would like to not use the Windows box unless I need too. If I could just get the click count, over any time period, within reason, I could feed the results to Cacti. So here is my question... Is there a way to get the audio coming in from the counter, to trigger anything that would then be able to count clicks... I can do it in perl or php, I just do not know how to read a click from the audio port.

Any help would be appreciated...
