Whenever I compile the kernel, even from a clean state (direct copy from /usr/src), I get the following message:

Hi,
Whenever I compile the kernel, even from a clean state (direct copy from /usr/src), I get the following message:
Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I need to get this compiled -_-Code:/home/dtroberts/kernelSrc/scripts/Makefile.fwinst:34 ***Mixed implicit and normal rules. Stop. make[1]: *** [modules] Error 2

Since the error is pointing to line 34 of your Makefile, could you post that here?
