Image Capture Problem on date change : dm355 ipnc

Hi,

If i am changing the system date to an year other than 2002, i am getting blank image on capture. Can anyone help me

This may not directly address the 2002 issue, but you can check a few things.

Make sure you are logged in as admin:Admin and not as some other user.

If you are recording you want to make sure record is enabled and the appropriate media (SD card, video file, etc) is enabled. I think if you are just testing you want to Remove All Schedules on the Schedules page.

If you are recording to an SD card you may want to try reformatting the SD card.

If you are recording to a video file be sure you have set a duration for the AVI.

Try setting up the cam to use a SNTP (Simple Network Time Protocol) server. Use one of the servers on this list that is near you (you will have to click on the URL to get the IP address). https://support.ntp.org/bin/view/Ser...TwoTimeServers This is covered in section 4.3 of the Getting Started Guide. Then under section 4.4, "Change The System Setting--Date and Time", select "Synchronize with SNTP Server".
