    duplicating and redirecting


    Hi,
    can You help me with duplicate stdout and stderr and redirect them to the file.

    i want to get
    echo 'something'
    in my terminal and in the file at the same time

    and maybe it is somewhere good redirecting, duplicating manual
    thx

    something like this? (needs bash4)

    echo something |& tee your_file
    A good start are the man pages of bash and tee,
    Code:
    man tee
    man bash
    as well as I/O Redirection
    You must always face the curtain with a bow.
