Question New Color Code To Nano

Lately I've been working with HaXe a lot from the command line, and I get a little annoyed that it Nano doesn't color code HaXe. Now, I suppose I am either too lazy, in the sense that I didn't really bother myself that much to look for an easy extension to Nano for that; or too stubborn, in the sense that I want to do some of the work myself.

Either way, I downloaded the source code for Nano and I found a section under nano-2.2.6/doc/syntax/ that contains parameters for syntax coloring. What I was wondering is if I merely have to add a new file in there similar to the others, just changing the color coding, or if there is something in the actual code of Nano that I must be aware of.

    Thanks for the help!

    Hi,

Before you roll your own, have you checked out this haxe syntax rcfile for nano?
