    command similar to "cb" or "indent" for C


    i have never tried cb but im reading the book "Expert C Programming: Deep C Secrets" (it has a fish on the cover lol) and i saw a program that came with an old compiler. it apparently tidys up your C code for you. i would love to have a program like this, anyone know of any modern ones?

    Hi.

    Many distributions (still) provide indent. Other choices are:
    Code:
    astyle - Source code indenter for C++/C/Java/C# source code
    bcpp - C(++) beautifier
    uncrustify - C, C++, C#, D, Java and Pawn source code beautifier
    Search for more using keywords indent, pretty, tidy, format, beautify using Google (browser), man -k <keyword> (on your local system), etc.
