Manipulating IPsec SPD/SAD out of C++ program

    Hi Folks,

I'm in the inconvenient situation of having to manipulate the kernel IPsec SPD and SAD (especially manually alter keys) out of a C++ program module. Does anybody have any hint to documentation or examples how to do so?
I've thought about trying to use the netlink API, could anybody tell if it's suitable or does anybody have experience with altering system databases with that particular API?
Maybe also somebody could tell me about a different approach...

    Sincere thanks!

    Cheers,

    Steve

Have you had a look at this project? The source code is available and might help. ipsec-tools.sourceforge.net
