    PHP SimpleXML - check version on suselinux


    how can i check if i have PHP SimpleXML on the opensuse

    is there a command that i can use in terminal

    use the "code" module:
    Code:
    python -c "import simplexml"
    if the module is installed on your system (i.e., in your python path), then you'll see no output and it will return a successful return value. Otherwise, it will raise an exception and exit 1.

    Close but since it's PHP he's using:
    Code:
    php -m
    might work better!
