Hello all.....

I have been using gcc 2.95 with libg++ and it had a header file String.h.
It used to support lot of string functions.
Now I have migrated to gcc 3.4. The file String.h was considered to be buggy and I want to use string class provided by gcc3.4.
But to make change in code is quite cumbersome as it involves change in nearly 5k places. That will be hectic to change and test.

So I planned to create a wrapper which is similar to String.h but the underlying operation of methods will be using string class.

Could you suggest a way to go ahead for it.
I tried to create constructors initially but I think its a mess.
Has anybody tried this before.
