    conio equivalent for Linux


    Anyone know of any library functions for colored console text, cursor positions, etc? Something similar to Borland's <conio> for DOS/Windows. The reason is so i can port program's i've written to Linux. That's all thats stopping me.

    I don't know what conio does but from your description it sounds like
    the curses libraries are what you're looking for.Check out also the
    man page for console_codes.
