    Display time

    How do I display the time in perl?
    m.d.y h:m:s format

    I tried using localtime()
    but i got "1.0.2003 5:46:52P.M" the date is wrong.

    What do you get from: perl -e 'print scalar(localtime()),"\n"'
    What do you get from: perl -e 'print time(),"\n"'
    [ [ SykkN alloc ] initWithThePowerTo: destroyYouAll ];
    /* Don\'t make me use it! */
