    On my work we'll going to use C# (MS Visual Studio 2005) for a new project. AFAIK C# is a ISO language and there should be an open source of it.

    Is C# a valid programming language for Linux or would you suggest C++

    Google for "mono" or "monodevelop".
    Some things aren't supported yet though, if I remember correctly..

    I see you are using Suse 9.3. Mono comes with Suse 9.3. Search for it through Yast.
